Alan and Ethan are doing great! We stayed with Ethan and Jamie Tuesday night. Jamie cooked a great meal then we retired to the family room to visit.
Alan actually went back to work today and jogged! The doctors told him he can do what he feels like as long as he doesn't lift over 10 pounds. He still needs to rest often. The incisions are healing properly and he doesn't need pain pills.
Ethan has stopped taking the majority of his blood pressure medications, his skin coloring is normal and his formerly blood-shot eyes are bright white. His ankles are back and he can wear regular athletic socks instead of diabetic socks. They are planning on taking out the dialysis ports in a few weeks. He hasn't had to do any dialysis since the surgery. It was so great to see how he is so close to his old self.

This is Jennifer, Alan's transplant coordinator at Barnes.

It continues to be a great experience and blessing. We are so thankful for all of the prayers and support.
