Various November activities

Hawk helped decorate the tree.  He seemed to know what to do with the ornaments and took pride in the job well done.
We have been to the indoor bounce house twice and he has so much fun!
He does the slides all by himself.
I have to help him climb up.  It's a workout for me!
Somber
Dazed in the front yard. We tried to take Christmas card photos.  Watch for yours soon!

Deflated Tennis Ball

Grandpa showed up as Mr. Clean
He visited my office.
Ready to trick-or-treat
It was really cold.
We just stayed in the neighborhood this year.

I bought a large sweatshirt from Wal-Mart and turned it inside-out. I cut off the sleeves, modified the neck, and added a drawstring to the bottom.  I painted the white lines and Penn logo.
Here is the stencil I cut.

Pumpkin Patch

We visited a pumpkin patch this evening. It was just off 96 hwy east of Carthage.

Plumpklns. Plumpklns. Plumpklns. Hawk kind of rolls his "L" and it's similar to the way he says "blueberry."
He was nice to the mums and smelled them.
He wanted to name and show me everything.
Hay maze

Baby pigs!
Look over there.

Baby bales
Hawk got to pet the horse. He liked it and did a good job.  He pet it just like he pets Slug.

We had dinner a little late, but I'm glad we went.

Joplin Win & Mapleleaf

Hawk got to stay up way past his bedtime. The game got over around 10:00 then we had an hour to drive home.
The Eagles beat Hillcrest 42-21 and now they will continue to the playoffs.
They play Kickapoo (Springfield) next Friday at 7:00.

Hawk and his beloved pile-on

Mapleleaf! This is a tired Hawk watching the parade.
He liked a big, shiny, blue tow-truck and a fire truck.  He seemed to enjoy the band music, but he mostly wanted to walk around.
Sucker!
