Pumpkin Patch

We visited a pumpkin patch this evening. It was just off 96 hwy east of Carthage.

Plumpklns. Plumpklns. Plumpklns. Hawk kind of rolls his "L" and it's similar to the way he says "blueberry."
He was nice to the mums and smelled them.
He wanted to name and show me everything.

Baby pigs!
Look over there.

Hawk got to pet the horse. He liked it and did a good job.  He pet it just like he pets Slug.

We had dinner a little late, but I'm glad we went.

Joplin Win & Mapleleaf

Hawk got to stay up way past his bedtime. The game got over around 10:00 then we had an hour to drive home.
The Eagles beat Hillcrest 42-21 and now they will continue to the playoffs.
They play Kickapoo (Springfield) next Friday at 7:00.

Mapleleaf! This is a tired Hawk watching the parade.
He liked a big, shiny, blue tow-truck and a fire truck.  He seemed to enjoy the band music, but he mostly wanted to walk around.
Sucker!

1st Place

Hawk won first place in his age divison at the Maple Leaf Baby Pageant. Only 3 toddlers entered, but he is still a winner. It's better than "most hair."
They had to wear jeans and a white t-shirt that could be decorated.
This is a friend who is a few months older.
He just wanted to drive the whole time. He kept signing "drive" and making car sounds.

Now we have to be in the parade next weekend.
