10/22 full wave
Hawk waved hello to Grandma and Grandpa when they picked him up that morning. I got to see it! It's a full open hand wave like how you would wave in a parade. He waves to strangers and Slug. Most wave back. Slug does not.
10/24 Pull up on chair and stairs
Grandma came around the corner and found him with his knees on the floor and his hands in the first stair.
10/25 food to mouth
He has been playing with baby food on his high chair basically since he started eating foods. Last week he actullly brought the mush to his mouth to eat. We have been putting puffs (not Cheetos) on his tray at meal time this week. He picks them up, but doesn't really eat them. Saturday I placed little bits of scrambled eggs on his tray. He ate a few of bites then had a perplexed look on his face.
10/26 crib pull
Alan lowered the mattress just in time. Saturday I put Hawk in his newly positioned bed so he could be familiar with how things are. I sat down beside the bed to look at him though the slats. It was less than a minute when he grabbed the round dowels and pulled himself right up to his knees. He thought it was so funny to reach through and touch my face. He laughed and laughed.
10/26 tooth discovery
It feels like we're getting kind of close. Alan felt a little tooth poking through on Hawk. •'90s usher• Alan felt the little bumps Saturday afternoon. We are getting close to getting a full tooth!
The photo above has nothing to do with any of these milestones.
