Bookshelf Modern Makeover

BEFORE
DAD PREPPING FOR PAINT

AFTER

GOODMAN FABRICATION

DETAILS

I purchased this cheap DVD stand at a garage sale for $5.  I took it apart and sanded the metal ends.  Dad helped me prime and spray paint on several coats.  The citron didn't cover very well.  Dad cut and finished the shelves of pine, replacing the particle board.  I purchased the decorative metal back from Lowe's for $26.  Dad cut and riveted the metal to the back.  Dad reconstructed the unit and I'm pretty impressed with it!  It's another one of a kind design!
